Stevee Chapman journalist and videographer who specializes in long form storytelling and weddings.
She is a graduate of Washington State University's Edward R. Murrow College of Communication where she earned a Bachelor Arts Degree in Journalism and Media Production.
In her time at Washington State University, Stevee took multiple opportunities to gain experience as a student and journalist both domestically and internationally.
During her final semester, she relocated to New York City to work as a student intern at The Documentary Group.
In May 2013, Stevee traveled with a group of her peers from the Murrow College on a backpack journalism trip to Havana, Cuba. While there, she gained valuable experience producing multimedia content in the field.
The following December, she was selected as one of two Murrow Backpack Journalism Scholars. She embarked on a fully funded solo trip to cover conservation efforts on the Galapagos Islands.
Upon graduation, Stevee received an Achievement in Broadcast Journalism Award from the Murrow College journalism faculty. In addition, she was announced a winner of the "Mark of Excellence Award" for Online News Reporting (Region 10) by the Society of Professional Journalists.
In the future, Stevee hopes to follow a career path where she can continue to travel, and tell stories that may otherwise go untold.
